Based in Stockbridge Hampshire, each piece of Sean Cooper upholstered furniture is hand built from scratch to the highest quality & specification by a small team of highly skilled `old school` craftsmen with many years of experience…these are not factory or mass produced pieces but truly workshop made sofas & chairs.

Each piece starts with a traditional handmade frame constructed from solid beech, these are screwed, doweled & glued for maximum strength. Hand tied double cone springs make up the seats & backs and a combination of the best traditional & contemporary paddings are added for comfort and durability. Everything is then lined in a soft fire retardant felt & then expertly upholstered in the finished fabric. Seat & back cushions are all handmade to size using the best quality feather and duck down fillings, however other fillings such as `maintenance free` duvet wraps are available if preferred.

Most our designs can be adapted to client specifications & `one off` commissions can always be discussed.

Restoration & re upholstery of existing client furniture is also available, along with a good selection of quality upholstery fabrics.
